The easier it is to use a tool, the more likely you are to use it. If you struggle to type on your computer, you'll shy away from using it. Imagine being able to type without taking your eyes off of reference material!

Learning to touch type will lead to a huge boost in productivity, remove barriers between your brain and the screen, and make computer use more fun!

The website keybr.com is a great place to start. They will guide you through practice sessions, starting with just a few keys. Try to practice everyday until you can comfortably type without looking down at the keyboard.

We recommend practicing for just 10 minutes a day. Motor skills such as typing are greatly improved after a good night's sleep, so spacing practice over many days will lead to more progress than one big typing session on the weekend.
