Let's work on typing faster! Typing faster can help reduce the barrier between your thoughts and what shows up on the screen.

Aim to type smoothly, rather than faster. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

We recommend practicing for just 10 minutes a day. Motor skills such as typing are greatly improved after a good night's sleep, so spacing practice over many days will lead to more progress than one big typing session on the weekend.

Once you can type over 65 words per minute, that's good enough. Remember that there is a point of diminishing returns with typing practice. It takes a lot of practice to go from 100 words per minute to 110. At that point, the bottleneck for your projects is somewhere else, not your typing speed.
