Email clients are great for collecting and responding to emails, but make for terrible todo lists, task managers, and reference apps. The goal of Inbox Zero is to move every email to an application that’s better at handling that task. This may sound like a pain, but it actually saves a ton of time by removing uncertainty about each email. A system like this makes it harder for tasks to fall through the cracks (or rather, get buried by the unending pile of emails).
