Everyone in our culture is busy. Busy, busy, busy. Busy all the time.

I originally designed Hostwriting with this fact in mind. I was collaborating with someone who needed to write more and share their ideas with the world, but was too busy to find regular time to write.

The solution?

I generated a long list of questions for them to answer. These were questions about the topics they were going to be writing about.

I then ordered the questions in a logical order, and sent them to the person by email, one question at a time. They could answer one question a day, or scale up or down their involvement as their schedule allowed. I’d simply store their answers as they came, whenever they came. The answers would then form a draft of possible future writing, which they or I could edit and polish for publication and distribution.

You now have a list of questions that are relevant to your topics. You've also ordered them. That means that you can give this a try. Take 5-10 of your questions, and answer them one at a time, being sure to restate the question so that it is included in your answer for context. Aim for one question per day until you've finished. Remember, your answers are a rough draft, not a finished product.
